SO! Anime Evolution 2009 was a pretty good success, didn't get as much done as I wanted to, but oh well. Time to buck up and move on!
~Mego-Sama-Lady-Sir has ALREADY gotten me psyched up for the next batch of costumes. Seriously, it's too early for this, but I already want to get started, they're so awesome.
I think I might actually be decent at this, if I put in a bit of practice. I hope to get parts of these costumes done for Halloween. It would be brilliant.

On a completely separate note! My birthday is on friday! Yaaaay. I'm going to be twenty!... Not yay! I'm going to be officially.. an adult! Duh-dun-DUH.
I can feel it coming. There's been signs.
During a car ride with my mom I pointed out how immature those stupid teenagers were acting at the bus stop.

UPDATE!

SO! I've been... I can't even really say busy, not until lately. Just horribly bored with.. everything it would seem. Sketches I've started have come to look all the same to me, and I have no incentive to finish them. It's kind of depressing. It feels like all my artisticness is going down the drain.

BUT~!
Lo and Behold, comes Anime Evolution 2009, AND, on a slightly bitter note, the shutdown of the Fabricland that I work at. So very recently, I have come to bring a LOT of fabric into my house, a lot of it bound for costumedom. How soon, you ask? WELL, I finished a Wizardmon costume in October that I wasn't allowed to put a picture up of, blame for that one. I only have one picture of her, and she's flipping me off.
I still have to fix up the legs a bit, made them a bit too long, and do something with that friggin' hat of hers! And sew pockets in behind the zippers-that-have-no-use. I'll probably put ice packs in them so she doesn't die from the heat. x3

I'm also going to be in costume at the convention, as Wizardmon's bestest buddy. x3 , , , and are all going to be there with me. All but ONE dressed up as a Digimon, because he couldn't find one for me to make! x3 I'll update this if he does and we end up as a six-pack of anime retards. Look for us if you're going. We honestly shouldn't be that hard to find. x3
So, my store is closing out on the 25, then I'm there for the remaining five days to pallet up any extra fabric and send it off. Then I have the whole month of May and the first two weeks of June for these costumes. Of which I will probably working the entire day on. I'm making all my own patterns as well as sewing them. I will have help, but still..

I think I'm gonna explode.
SO! Either you get in-progress pictures of all the costumes, or you get a lovely picture taken of a headless me, or a nice snapshot of a giant bloody explosion mark on the ground. But you will get something!
Hopefully the former, even though the latter sound rather possible and kinda neat. Too bad I wouldn't be alive to see it. x3

I also came across quite a lot of very nice fake fur for a decent price (practically free), and was planning on doing a few costumes with that as well. They include, the Catbus, Totoro, Deacon O'Rourke, Nathan, Kirara, Sesshomaru, Michael the wolf, AND a gift for a good friend, Either Vulcan or Ryn.
Thosewon't come for a while, though I REALLY want to make a Dea costume. I honestly need to learn how to weld for the huge ass stilts I'll nee got that one.
